An All Vegan Burger Joint Is Opening In Brisbane!

By Rachel Lay – 14 Dec 2016

Being vegan can be pretty tough, we’re sure. I mean, no cheese? No burgers? We can only imagine. So, when we heard that there was a 100% vegan spot opening up in Brisbane dishing out some pretty impressive burgers we nearly lost our shit.

We’re talking about MooFree Burgers that have just opened in North Lakes. Aside from serving up next-level Vegan burgers, they also do a mean breakfast.

For all the naysayers out there, the menu has a whole lot more than just a ‘salad burger,’ thank you very much. The Mama Kay’s brings the falafel goodness, while the BBQ Jack includes pulled jack fruit, and there’s even a ‘fishless fish fillet’ on the menu too (hilariously called Off Da Hook). Yep, this place is pretty impressive. And they use vegan cheese, which we know you were all wondering. Our fave though has to be the VBD: the vegan brother’s delight. Why? Because it’s packed full of some serious levels of deliciousness, that’s why; beef-less pattie, bacon-less rashers, vegan cheese and salad.

‘The tradie’ is your answer to all those times you couldn’t join in on the Maccas run, think meatless sausage patty and bacon, hash brown, tomato, spinach and BBQ sauce. Or, if you’re just looking for something to nix your hangover, you’ve got to get around the Monster Breakfast: vegan beef, bacon, sausage, house beans, avo, toast and fritter. You’re probably pretty excited right now, right?

Vegans, get ready to order more than just fries and salad off the menu.
